Your Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer with an interest in automotive engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the US Postal Service's (USPS) effort to revolutionize its vehicle fleet. You will support the USPS Center of Vehicle Engineering Excellence in designing, developing, and implementing next-generation delivery vehicles (NGDV) and fleet solutions that are safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with engineering project managers to support a multi-billion-dollar Postal Delivery Vehicle Program.
Support the development of technical specifications for vehicle training and manuals.
Apply your knowledge and skills to support large-scale engineering projects aligned with USPS goals.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in automotive, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
3+ years of experience in engineering, particularly in vehicle design, deployment, or related technologies.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (Project, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Flexibility to travel and adapt to evolving project needs.
