Your Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer with an interest in automotive engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the US Postal Service's (USPS) effort to revolutionize its vehicle fleet. You will support the USPS Center of Vehicle Engineering Excellence in designing, developing, and implementing next-generation delivery vehicles (NGDV) and fleet solutions that are safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with engineering project managers to support a multi-billion-dollar Postal Delivery Vehicle Program.

• Support the development of technical specifications for vehicle training and manuals.

• Apply your knowledge and skills to support large-scale engineering projects aligned with USPS goals.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in automotive, mechanical, or a related engineering field.

• 3+ years of experience in engineering, particularly in vehicle design, deployment, or related technologies.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (Project, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Flexibility to travel and adapt to evolving project needs.
