Title: 2nd Shift Custodial Foreman

Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is looking for 2nd Shift Custodial Foreman to maintain a safe, clean, efficient and functional environment. Must work positively and cooperatively in a team and independent environment, maintaining an attitude exemplifying the department's philosophy. Performs all of the duties of a general custodian. The ideal candidate will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative. Helps the School District fulfill its mission of service to its students, faculty and community and protects the capital investments made by the School District in its Public Facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

• Manage staff and coordinate work assignments for second shift as identified by the Director of Building & Grounds
• Oversee contract cleaners and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Coordinate event setups and room assignments as needed for after hour programs including but not limited to: athletic events, dances, Adult Education, drama productions
• Report daily all updates and occurrences to the Director of Building & Grounds keeping first shift and supervisors informed of the progress of the work and any significant developments
• Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned areas/buildings
• Monitor the supplies and equipment and report any problems to the Director of Building & Grounds
• Identify and correct health and safety issues in a timely manner
• Perform building security checks, unlock and lock as needed for scheduled building use events
• Keep work areas clean and clear of debris
• Perform other similar and related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Building & Grounds, or as the situation dictates. All day/night custodians may be required to assist others in the various trades toward the completion of assignments as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license
• Successful completion of a criminal record check (CORI) and a national background check (fingerprinting)
• Demonstrated interest working in a school environment
• Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the techniques of custodial foreman and custodial maintenance
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Good oral and written skills
• Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of skilled and unskilled custodial tasks using hand or power tools and related equipment to maintain buildings and equipment as detailed in the performance responsibilities

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years experience as custodial foreman

Schedule:

• Weekday Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• First shift during shutdowns and summers

Salary Range:

• $26.22/Hour - $34.36/Hour
