Department: Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations
Core Focus: Deliver exceptional field execution of commercial roofing projects through leadership, safety, scheduling, and quality control.
Key Accountabilities
Field Leadership
Lead and supervise roofing crews to ensure daily production goals are met
Maintain job site discipline and enforce company standards
Be the point of contact between crews and office for job-related updates
Schedule Execution
Execute daily/weekly production schedules provided by Project Manager or Operations Director
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment (e.g., crane, dumpster, lifts)
Communicate daily start/end times and logistics to crews
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all crews follow OSHA, company safety policies, and site-specific rules
Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and ensure fall protection plans are in place and followed
Report incidents immediately and participate in investigations
Quality Assurance
Perform quality checks throughout job progress and at project close-out
Review scope and ensure details are executed as specified in the contract and drawings
Document and resolve punch list items proactively
Communication & Documentation
Complete and review daily reports (e.g., Raken) with photos, notes, and production quantities
Attend daily/weekly operations meetings
Track labor hours, job site changes, and report progress to the Operations Director
LMA: Leads + Manages + Holds Accountable
Leads crews with clear expectations, coaching, and consistent communication
Manages time, tools, and materials effectively
Holds Accountable crews to company standards in safety, quality, and productivity

Required Experience & Skills
5+ years commercial roofing experience (flat roof systems: TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Modified)
Leadership experience managing crews
Strong knowledge of job site safety requirements
Proficient in reading blueprints, specs, and scopes
Tech-savvy with apps like Raken or equivalent field reporting tools
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
