Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

We are a local, family owned flooring company looking for a full time warehouse associate who is responsible, can work independently and takes pride in their work. A hard worker who enjoys ever evolving and changing responsibilities and physical challenges.

Typical Duties Include;
- Loading and unloading trucks & containers, picking orders, shipping & receiving
- Inventory management, quality control, ordering supplies
- Performing preventive maintenance on machinery and other warehouse equipment
- Operating reach forklift, counterbalance forklift and pallet jacks
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe workspace
- Opening and closing the building warehouse
- Operating in compliance of standard operating procedures within WorkSafe BC regulations
- Working collaboratively with other employees and supervisors
- Assisting with quarterly inventory
- Preparing samples for shipping

Required Skills;
- Prior warehouse experience
- Proven experience in counterbalance and forklift operation with a valid forklift operator's license
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to comfortably lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Honest, punctual, reliable, responsible, and a team player
