TIG & MIG Welder $23.50 + sign-on BONUS

Our client in Lancaster, NY is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. The ideal candidate is dependable with MIG and TIG experience . The Welder will build/weld custom products from prints and raw materials. Assessment Welding Required. This is a Direct Hire position so dont wait apply today!

Welder $23.75/hr. to start + sign-on bonus! $$$

What will you be doing?

• Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
• Welds including spot welding, tig, mig and stick.
• Fabricates and welds non-ASME code components.
• Sets up welders, fabricates (bends, cuts, welds, and drills) grinds and shears.
• Performs related tasks such as cutting and grinding.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• Performs other duties as necessary

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
• Basic level math skills including fractions and decimals and an understanding of angles.
• Ability to read from a schematic and blueprints.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.
• Ability to pass a basic welding test prior to being hired.
• Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn the business systems.
