Description

ICM Solutions is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety and compliance efforts across all operations. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that align with OSHA, MSHA, and industry-specific standards. The Safety Manager will foster a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to protect our employees, customers, and assets.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Develop, implement, and manage company-wide health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.

+ Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all ICM facilities and job sites.

+ Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

+ Deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation, equipment-specific training, and annual certifications (OSHA, MSHA, CPR/AED, etc.).

+ Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting and documentation.

+ Monitor safety performance metrics and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for leadership.

+ Collaborate with branch managers and department heads to ensure consistent safety practices across all locations.

+ Stay current on evolving safety regulations and best practices, and update policies accordingly.

+ Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement, communication, and recognition programs.

+ Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals, where applicable.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field (CSP preferred).

+ 5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in construction, industrial equipment, or mining environments.

+ In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, MSHA regulations, and DOT compliance.

+ Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment and incident investigation.

+ Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.

+ Valid certifications in OSHA, MSHA, CPR/AED, and First Responder (or ability to obtain).

+ Ability to travel to ICM branch locations as needed.

+ Must be insurable to operate a company vehicle.

**Travel Requirements:**

Yes Regular travel to ICM branches and job sites is required.
