Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM for 3D modeling and schematic design.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards including ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 55, NEC, NESC, IBC, and sustainable design practices.
  • Contribute to design-build projects and alternative delivery practices.
  • Participate in site visits to assess project progress and adherence to design specifications.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering.
  • P.E. license required.
  • 10+ years of HVAC/Plumbing design experience within a consulting firm.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
  • Experience with ASHRAE standards and California Title 24 Energy Code.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and design-build practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • LEED AP preferred.
  • Experience with Government/DOD projects preferred.
Work Environment

Office setting with occasional site visits for project progress.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

Company provide full range of benefits as well as PTO and Relocation packages
