Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Sheet Metal Fabricator for a company based in Alexandria , VA . In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting up and operating special purpose machines and machining centers to fabricate metal parts. Pay Rate
$ 16 /hr. plus depending on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 3 0 am to 3 0 0 pm.
Sheet Metal Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities
Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using a variety of hand tools and machinery
Assemble metal components into finished products or structure, ensuring precise alignment and secure fittings
Perform quality checks to verify that fabricated components meet design specifications and industry standards
Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, and welders to produce and modify sheet metal parts
S heet Metal Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements
Prior metal fabrication preferred
Basic math skills for measurement and calculations
Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Reliable and punctual attendance is essential
Must pass criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen INCLUDING THC
