Geotechnical Project Manager

This includes responsibility for:

o Manage projects, meeting HVJ financial goals and quality standards. Sign/seal technical reports.
o Forecast project beginning, schedule and profitability.
o Develop and implement actions needed to achieve or exceed project goals.
o Prepare proposals including detailed cost estimates.
o Provide client satisfaction
o Guide and mentor junior staffs
o Team Building
o Assist with Business Development
o Track project expenses to ensure actual work is performed within budget
o Invoice projects so that payment for services is received no later than 45 days after performing the service
o Review all reports prior to submittal to the client for completeness and accuracy
o Perform geotechnical/construction materials engineering as required to meet client needs
o Identifies and pursues new opportunities to grow geotechnical engineering services
o Perform/review geotechnical engineering analyses

Key Criteria/Requirements:

o MSCE with at least 5 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience, or BSCE with at least 10 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience.
o Must have Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas.
o Experience In TxDOT, City and Municipality Projects Is A Plus.
o Experience with Central and South-Central Texas Geology and Soil Condition Is A Plus.
o Excellent written and communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
o Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized and have a keen sense of detail.
o Position will require to work with supporting staffs, managers and clients; and therefore, the candidate needs to be a team player.
o Valid Texas Drivers License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug related traffic offenses and valid right to work documents.
o Experience with common geotechnical programs
