Busy machine shop specializing in a wide range of different materials and products. Precision machining, Welding, and custom part production. We're looking to hire a Welding Assistant and Metal Grinder to support our skilled trades team and help maintain high-quality output on the shop floor. Seeking a detail-oriented individual who is self motivated.

Key Responsibilities
Assist welders and machinists in welding, cutting, grinding, deburring
Operate hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drills, ect.
Perform metal grinding and finishing on fabricated parts and welded seams
Cutting material and prepping for shipping
Routine shop maintenance
This job involves being able to revolve around the shop

Qualifications
Previous experience in metal fabrication or welding support preferred
Familiarity with grinders, cutting tools, and basic shop equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
