Engineering Technician

Job Description

The Engineering Technician will be involved in coordinating project engineering and design, conducting product and process research, and providing field technical support for the utility system. The role also involves gathering and tracking standards and manual feedback, supporting department process and change management, and working on special projects. This is a contract position slated through July of 2026 with the potential for a one-year extension. The role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remote work on Wednesday and Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project engineering and design tasks.
  • Conduct product and process research.
  • Provide field technical support for the utility system.
  • Gather and track standards and manual feedback.
  • Support department process and change management.
  • Coordinate with other internal departments on assigned tasks and projects.
Essential Skills
  • Experience as a Project Coordinator or in Construction.
  • Proficiency in data entry and document control.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Experience with data coordination.
  • Ability to track project and design standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD and MS Windows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with maps, reports, invoices, and purchase requisitions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
