Job Description

A well-established general contractor specializing in commercial interiors for over a century is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Support commercial interior construction projects in NYC.
  • Manage construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Utilize Procore software for project management.
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure project timelines are met.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in Procore software.
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or healthcare construction.
  • Knowledge of Sage software.
  • Consistent employment history.

Work Environment

The position requires working in the office five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. While 90% of the time will be spent in the office, there is flexibility to visit project sites if paperwork is managed efficiently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.67/hr.
