Job Title: Interior Architect

Job Description

The Interior Architect will support the Director of Architecture and Lead Architectural Designer throughout the entire project lifecycle, from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. This role involves developing project designs and details, coordinating implementation into Revit or CAD, managing drawing set preparation, and maintaining drawing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Architecture and Senior Architectural Designer to develop project designs and details.
  • Coordinate with the Architectural Designer to implement designs into Revit or CAD.
  • Manage and work with the Architectural Designer in preparing drawing sets in Revit or CAD.
  • Regularly review and update files on the architecture drive and Sharepoint Client drawing files.
  • Coordinate Revit and CAD drawing standards with the Director of Architecture and Senior Architectural Designer.
  • Maintain Revit and CAD templates for new projects and communicate drawing standards to the Architectural Designer.
  • Relay project drawing status updates from the Architectural Designer to the Director of Architecture or Senior Architectural Designer.
  • Reference project information in Studio Designer as needed.
  • During Construction Administration, review submittals for accuracy and discuss with the Director of Architecture or Senior Architectural Designer for submission to GC/builder.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in interior architecture and architectural design.
  • Ability to produce projects for high-end single-family residential projects.
  • Strong skills in construction document preparation and construction administration.
  • Experience in project management and design development.
  • Ability to mentor junior architects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working with high-end residential projects and clientele.

Work Environment

The position requires working in the office located in Streeterville for five days a week during the first six months, with the possibility of remote work one day a week thereafter.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
