Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a SR. Civil Engineer, you will manage multiple unique projects, ensuring they meet U.S. military design standards. Your role encompasses drafting, developing site plans, preparing grading and drainage designs, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and resolving design challenges. Beyond technical tasks, you will collaborate with teams, lead junior team members, work closely with clients, and maintain project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple unique projects adhering to U.S. military design standards.
• Draft and develop comprehensive site plans.
• Prepare detailed grading and drainage designs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any arising issues.
• Collaborate with teams and lead junior team members effectively.
• Work closely with clients to ensure project success and satisfaction.
• Resolve design challenges with innovative solutions.

• Civil Engineering expertise with a minimum of 15 years' experience.
• Must have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
• Strong knowledge in Design and Project Management for Civil Projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in site development, stormwater management, drainage, and grading.
• Expertise in land development and civil design.
• Ability to draft site plans and design transportation, construction, wastewater, roadway, and utility systems.

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably experience working within the Federal space.
• Project management experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
• Software proficiency: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Twenty or more years' experience in civil design and project delivery in industrial construction projects.
• Six or more years' experience in drainage, grading, and utility design.

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
