Electrical Foreman Qualifications:

  • Journeyman or Master License
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the commercial or industrial electrical field
  • Knowledge of NEC requirements and strong trade skills
  • Able to pass Background / Drug Test
  • Valid Drivers License / Clean MVR
  • Must hold a current Journeyman or Masters license (if required by the applicable state, city or county)

Electrical Foreman Responsibilities

  • Plan, scheduled and implement daily manpower, inventory material, tools, and equipment
  • Educate crew members and peers on NEC compliance & installation efficiencies
  • Monitor and manage field production and implement paths to improvement
  • Entry-level utilization of financial data to improve profitability
  • Purchase regulates and control material inventory
  • Strong Commercial, Industrial, and or Data Center skills to be adaptable
  • Strong, first-hand knowledge and experience related to scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations
  • Function as a Foreman; monitoring installations and ensuring work is performed according to standards and project specifications
  • Work cooperatively with the general contractor and/or customer in managing the project, project schedule and employees
  • Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work
  • Provide Superintendent(s) with sufficient notice of any crew changes
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew members, etc
