Jacobs Project Management Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer Professional Associate for the New York, NY office.

Responsibilities:

Analyze on site data provided by the contractor and project managers to dissect and project trends which is utilized to implement preventative actions and recovery steps through appropriate reporting channels. Work on and present technical proposals, presentations, client facing meeting for the purpose of acquiring additional programs associated with the client. Maintain all the required building information to submit for year-end reports and budget allocation of facilities and provided annual CRE reviews for executives and regional supervisors. Chair and conduct Initial Job Meetings, Bi-weekly Progress Meeting, Schedule Update Meetings, and On-site Inspection/Evaluation Meetings. Critically analyze the project controls parameters such as schedules, estimates, payments, associated with the different project types in the client portfolio and incept measures and metrics which are further used to come up with common and comparable KPI for the different project types within the portfolio. Attend meetings and document information being provided during these meeting with different stakeholder as this is used in providing the client with a historical summary of the ongoing projects and their current progress status.

Telecommuting/ Hybrid schedule is allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering (specialized in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering) or related field and 4 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Expertise/ knowledge of:

1. Program management skills to work with a portfolio of going projects estimated to be around 900-million dollars.

2. Data Management and Reporting skills for 150+ active projects for the purpose of documentation, budgeting, and reporting.

3. Data management.

4. Transportation Industry.

5. Implementation and utilization of Document Control Software.

6. Stakeholder management.

7. Document processing and data management

8. Construction environment, with an understanding of the construction process and coordination of various entities in the industry.

9. Managing a Document Control effort for a large-scale construction project.
