Electrician III (Correctional Facility)

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Electrician III will plan, layout, lead, and inspect the work of a group of Electricians and inmate workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus and equipment. Maintain, inspect, and repair all aspects of the Lethal Electrified Fence, (LEF). Ensure that all Electricians are and remain trained on all aspects of (LEF) operation/repair. Make rough sketches of and estimate the cost of a variety of electrical installations; advise in the selection of electrical materials; order the necessary materials; see that work is done according to plans and specifications and ensure that safety regulations are followed.
