Job Description



A Project Scheduler is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This experienced Project Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining complex utility or construction project schedules, supporting project management teams, ensuring schedule integrity, and mentoring junior staff, with a strong focus on collaboration, compliance, and timely execution.

responsibilities:
  • Create and manage complex, integrated project schedules (CPM-based) using Primavera P6.

  • Define activities, durations, logic, and milestones based on scope of work.

  • Maintain and update schedules, collect and analyze progress data.

  • Communicate schedule risks/issues and drive resolution strategies.

  • Develop and deliver schedule reports/status updates to project teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Support project management governance and schedule standards.

  • Mentor junior schedulers, lead schedule reviews, and document action items.

  • Provide schedule and cost integration, and generate what-if analyses as needed.
Skills:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and complex spreadsheet development.

  • Ability to work independently, meet goals, and adhere to safety standards.

  • Familiarity with utility operations and project execution strategies.
Education and Experience:

  • High School + 7 years qualified experience or

  • Associate's + 5 years or

  • Bachelor's + 3 years.
