An Electrical Engineer is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. The Senior Electrical Engineer leads and manages the electrical and controls design of capital facility projects, ensuring technical compliance, budget adherence, and coordination across teams, with specialized expertise in high-voltage systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.

responsibilities:
- Manage electrical and controls design for expansion/maintenance capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, NEC, and project specifications.
- Act as a liaison across internal teams (Operations, Shared Services, Project Execution).
- Cable, conduit, starter, and overload sizing.
- Define scope, budget, timeline, and risk for facility projects.
- Oversee third-party engineering design execution and ensure deliverables meet standards.
- Review and approve designs, drawings, technical reports, material lists.
- Evaluate vendor quotes, conduct technical assessments and recommend selections.
- Support construction and commissioning phases.

- Independent worker, skilled in prioritization and multi-project handling.

- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
