Cabinet Finisher II -Weekend Days

Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Finisher II with expertise in wood finishing and furniture preparation for the aerospace industry.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years experience in wood finishing
  • Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications

• Responsibilities:

  • Prepare furniture for finish using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings
  • Perform repairs on finished surfaces in shop and aboard aircraft
  • Clean and polish blemishes to prepare aircraft for delivery
  • Apply finish using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods
  • Use various tools and materials for disassembly and finishing tasks
  • Comply with safety, housekeeping policies, and use personal protective equipment
  • Utilize material tracking system to manage parts demand and work sign-off
  • Collaborate on process improvements to enhance safety, reduce costs, cycle time, and man-hours

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
