New Home Assistant Construction Manager

We are looking for a New Home Assistant Construction Manager to assist in managing the Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and framing crew(s) . You will be the main point of contact for safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with training new staff and assisting the field team with schedules, trade issues, quality and municipality communication. The understanding of new home construction is required for this position. You must be competent in the Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC), have great attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The goal is to provide our customers, Trade Partners and coworkers with top rate customer service while delivering a high quality new construction home.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: This list is not all inclusive

Manage in-house framing crew(s) including quality, performance, tool/equipment and safety
Main point of contact for any safety related issues
Train Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents
Provide support for Warranty Department
Point of contract for neighborhood concerns and issues
Ensures timely completion of homes
Manages scheduling software and templates
Conduct quality inspection process on completed homes
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
Participate as an active member of the Production Department team, attending all department meetings and providing input on improving department performance and customer satisfaction to the Construction Manager
Help ensure clean and safe neighborhoods and jobsites
Provide training and understanding of our scopes of work, blueprints and specifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years experience in new residential construction
Ability to read architectural plans
Strong understanding of residential construction processes
Strong technology savvy
Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office Programs including Teams and Excel
Experience with residential production scheduling system
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
Must be detail and process oriented.

Work Environment:
Business casual, fun and positive, dynamic and fast paced
Working hours are Monday Friday, 7am 4pm.
