Job Description

The team is seeking a motivated engineer to contribute to the calibration and development of on-board diagnostics (OBD) for heavy-duty engines. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment, supporting both testing and development of OBD systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cells

  • Execute test procedures efficiently and accurately

  • Review test data to ensure reliability and consistency

  • Calibrate OBD functions for aftertreatment systems including catalysts, filters, and sensors

  • Analyze data from trucks, test cells, and other sources to verify OBD monitor performance and robustness

  • Plan, conduct, and interpret results of development and verification testing

  • Innovate diagnostic algorithms aligned with future CARB and EPA regulations

  • Apply advanced analytical methods to support monitor testing and design

  • Prepare and present technical reports (written and oral)

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in engine or aftertreatment calibration

  • Strong knowledge of OBD systems and diagnostic strategies

  • Experience with heavy-duty engine testing and data analysis

  • Familiarity with EPA and CARB emissions regulations

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
