The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We are seeking a Site Installation Project Manager to plan and oversee turn-key service projects from beginning to end. This position will be based remotely.

You will be leading our on-site team, working directly with the customer/customer representatives, our internal commissioning team, warranty case managers, service PMs and solutions PMs. The Site Installation Project Manager should have previous experience in managing projects and be knowledgeable of electrical equipment and its installation. The ideal applicant will be highly organized, with the ability to plan and multi-task to meet deadlines and keep projects under budget. If this sounds like you, get in touch with us.

  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from contract award through completion, including client and internal meetings, site coordination, and active presence throughout execution.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, clearly defining responsibilities and ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Supervise and execute site activities in accordance with commissioning plans and industry standards, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with clients, trades, and stakeholders to negotiate schedules, address concerns, and drive project progress through respectful and effective communication.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or issues before they impact the schedule.
  • Generate and review daily and weekly reports to communicate on-site activities and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify out-of-scope work, prepare estimates, and assist in change order and claims processing to support project controls.
  • Coordinate and manage construction personnel and subcontractors, ensuring resource availability, tracking headcount, and optimizing productivity.
  • Maintain compliance with all project requirements, codes, and construction standards across on-site and off-site activities.
  • Foster strong working relationships with team members, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues, coach team performance, and support a productive work environment.
  • Analyze and mitigate project risks while maintaining adaptability to handle emerging challenges.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all project personnel, including engineers, construction teams, and management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma with equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Site Management or Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-contractors, field services, engineering, operations, and logistics
  • Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need of company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience.
  • A commitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external Customers

  • The pay range for this position is $107,520 - $184,320. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
