Project Manager (Construction)

Kforce has a client in Sparks, NV that is seeking a Project Manager (Construction).

About the RoleWe're seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Project Manager to join our self-perform execution team supporting high-impact energy and R&D projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments, has a strong mechanical background, and is passionate about delivering complex projects with precision and efficiency.

Duties:

• Lead the execution of mechanical scopes across multiple industrial and R&D projects
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6
• Coordinate with field supervisors, engineers, and craft teams to ensure seamless execution
• Review and interpret design documents (Revit, Bluebeam) and manage RFIs
• Estimate labor, materials, and duration for scopes of work
• Track project progress, identify risks, and adapt schedules as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and clean room protocols where applicable* High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required; Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Strong mechanical discipline (HVAC, plumbing, or process piping experience preferred)
• Deep understanding of mechanical utilities (e.g., chilled water, nitrogen piping)
• Familiarity with materials like carbon steel and copper, and joining methods
• Proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project or P6), Excel, Bluebeam, and Revit
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or clean room environments is a plus
