Location: Klamath Falls, OR
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general construction (Journeyman-level Carpenter) with proven leadership abilities. The Construction Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and customers.
Essential Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead a 2-6-person crew efficiently, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Supervise team members and monitor their work quality and performance.
Provide clear direction and support to team members on job sites.
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with safety guidelines at all times.
Other Essential Functions and Duties:
Serve as a liaison between office and field personnel, providing updates and addressing issues.
Take full ownership of all assigned projects.
Work hands-on with the crew while coaching and developing team members.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Keep accurate daily records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment for project efficiency.
Conduct job site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Enforce company policies and address any compliance concerns.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues.
Monitor project budgets and maintain financial accountability.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Availability during regular business hours (8 AM - 6 PM, Monday-Friday).
High school diploma or equivalent; education in construction management is a plus.
Strong experience in general construction tasks including:
Framing, Insulation, Drywall, Cabinet & Flooring Installation
Roof Repair, Window/Door Installation, Painting, Masonry, Material Management
At least 2 years of proven success as a Construction Crew Foreman/Supervisor.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to operate heavy equipment and safely back a trailer.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
Familiarity with reading blueprints and construction documents.
Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
