POSITION OVERVIEW

Northwood Ravin is looking for a Lead Superintendent to join our team in Tampa, FL. This person will be the primary onsite manager and will provide the direct daily supervision of all construction activities on the Project, overseeing and coordinating the subcontractors as the work is being completed. The Project Lead Superintendent will provide leadership and motivation to accomplish goals, have the capability to control costs, time, quality and safety and will be responsible for subcontractors work to be completed on time and per the plans, specifications and subcontracts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Planning, scheduling & coordinating the daily activities of All trades working on the sitePreparing and assisting with regular updates of the overall master schedulePreparing three-week look-ahead schedules and coordinating equipment requirements and material deliveriesPreparing daily reportsEnsuring all work performed conforms to contract requirements, plans & specificationEnsuring all construction activities are conducted safelyAssisting with review of subcontractors monthly pay applications

Experience on in-fill type project sitesExperience on large-scale multi-family projectsExperience in four (4) to five (5) story wood Frame ConstructionExperience withType III & type V constructionElevated Podium Slab workPre-Cast Parking StructuresDeep FoundationsUnderground Liner SystemsDetailed Planning SkillsAbility to Organize and Motivate PeopleUnderstanding of Technical & Mechanical SubjectsDecisive & ResourcefulAbility to Adapt to ChangeStrong Work EthicExtensive knowledge of relevant computer technologies such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

15+ years of construction experience7+ years of Project Superintendent experienceMust have the ability to read blueprintsValid Driver's LicenseTechnically savvy
