Safety Manager-Solor Projects

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a solar construction project. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, promoting a culture of safety, and protecting the well-being of all personnel on-site.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety protocols and procedures.- Conduct job site safety inspections and audits; document findings and corrective actions.- Lead new hire orientations and ongoing safety training, including toolbox talks.- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations; prepare detailed reports.- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safety alignment.- Maintain emergency response readiness and first aid supplies.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in solar or renewable energy.- OSHA 500 required- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).- Strong communication and leadership skills.- Ability to travel to project sites as needed (per diem/mileage provided).- CPR and First Aid certification requiredPreferred Traits:- Electrical experience- Experience managing large-scale solar projects.- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.# Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
