Project Manager Heating & Cooling

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Project Manager to join our client's team in their commercial HVAC business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, mechanical systems, and coordinating field/subcontractor operations from start to finish. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. The salary range for this role is 75K - 100K, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities for this HVAC Project Manager in Rochester, NY include: Oversee and manage commercial HVAC projects from bidding through closeout. Collaborate with estimators, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to develop detailed project plans and schedules. Ensure the projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and labor resources. Visit job sites and attend meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues. Track costs and maintain accurate documentation, including change orders and RFIs. Qualifications for this HVAC Project Manager include: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or similar field. 2+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction project management. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical specs. Proficiency with project management software. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites and attend meetings. Mileage reimbursement provided for travel to off-site meetings or job sites.
