Welder/Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will work from blueprints to fabricate parts from mild steel using a variety of hand tools. You will weld parts together using MIG welding techniques, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks. While experience with wiring, electrical units, hoses, and hydraulics is not required, it is considered an asset and training will be provided. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate and assemble parts. Use hand tools such as drills, sockets, and grinders to prepare parts. Perform MIG welding on mild steel, including flat, vertical, and overhead welds. Utilize fixtures to correctly fit, level, and square off welded pieces. Conduct 1G through 4G welds and use a plasma torch for cutting materials. Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful completion of trailer builds. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in MIG welding with mild steel and aluminum. Ability to work from blueprints, including CAD drawings and customer prints. Experience in mechanics, maintenance, or hydraulic work. Possession of a basic tool set, welding helmet, and steel-toed boots. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
