Responsibilities: Source and identify potential acquisition opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline of land investments. Develop and cultivate relationships with brokers, property owners, attorneys, and other industry professionals to uncover acquisition opportunities. Build effective partnerships with local representatives and home builders in the Austin market. Oversee and evaluate quantitative and qualitative analyses of investment opportunities, including financial feasibility and risk assessments. Collaborate with analysts to create and review cash flow models, operating statements, and financial reports to assess investment returns. Direct market research and due diligence processes, including evaluating market trends, demographics, growth patterns, and entitlement challenges. Ensure alignment of acquisitions with company objectives and targeted investment parameters. Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or Business. Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial modeling, land development, residential construction, land acquisitions, or land planning and entitlements. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to evaluate investment feasibility and risk factors. Experience managing due diligence processes and interpreting market research. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills within the real estate industry. Nice-to-Have Skills: Master's degree in Business Administration or Real Estate Development.
