Who are we looking for?

Our Ontario Transportation Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager / Project Directo r to join our growing Canadian Operations. The position can be located in any of our Whitby , Markham , Mississauga , St. Catharines , or Waterloo offices.

Due to continuing growth in our transportation practice, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager for any of our GTA office. This position will be integral in the development and growth of GHD's Transit / Rail practice

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Lead Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and road and bridge projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager.
• Delivering GHDs projects to budget, schedule and quality standards; provides overall supervision and project management leadership.
• Being proactive and responsive to Clients requests, to go above and beyond in delivering client excellence.
• Monitors project schedules, coordinates and maintains contact with sub-consultants, Municipalities, Utility companies, Railway Owners and Operators and Clients, and assists with contract administration as assigned.
• Teamwork in small and large teams. Owning the integration with other engineering disciplines, engineers, and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables.
• Supporting Business Development including capture planning and leading proposals.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients, including creating capture plans and enhancing client relationships

Candidate Qualifications:

• Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible)
• 15+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects including BRT,
• Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven track record to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff.
• Alternative delivery experience is an asset
