Senior Design Engineer (Hydraulics)

Summary: Seeking a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in hydraulic systems for engineering projects and product development.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • 5+ years of experience with NX Design
    • 5 years of experience in construction, mining, or off-highway equipment
    • Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics
    • Experience in selection of hydraulic system components
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Hydraulic hose and tube routing experience
    • Understanding of UG NX and SolidEdge CAD software
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Infor XA
    • Knowledge of heavy equipment hydraulic systems
  • Responsibilities:

    • Design hydraulic systems and develop new products or expand current product lines
    • Review design instructions from Project Engineering Manager and conduct necessary studies
    • Create or modify hydraulic system schematics for projects
    • Select hydraulic system components ensuring they meet industry standards globally
    • Calculate requirements for hydraulic system components and prepare layouts/details
    • Participate in design reviews, manage design costs, manufacturability, and document project evaluations
    • Maintain communication with Purchasing regarding component specifications, quality, cost, and availability


Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
