The UPMC Physician Services Division has an exciting opportunity available as a Project Manager - Resident and Fellow Talent Strategies. This is a full-time position that offers a weekly, hybrid work environment.
In this role, the Resident and Fellow Talent Strategies Project Manager will work alongside the HR leadership team in support of knowledge, analytics, and project leadership to develop and execute processes, programs, and solutions to achieve successful business outcomes. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing all special projects related to the connection of physician trainees to current and future employment opportunities at UPMC. This position plays a pivotal role in the analysis, design, and implementation of various operational metrics as well as supports talent development programs across Physician Services related to resident and fellow retention post-training.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Human Resources teams on a variety of resident and fellow talent project initiatives, including documentation of new processes and procedures and refinement of existing processes and procedures; leading execution. Complete any other special projects as assigned for Physician Services.
- Establish collaborative working relationships with UPMC leadership within Physician Services to identify approved current and future provider needs and design plans to address needs as a thought leader.
- Engages and builds community with physician trainees during the life cycle of their programs. Ensures that trainees understand employment opportunities across all regions and specialties.
- Develop, prepare, and send all communications on behalf of the Resident and Fellow Talent Strategies team and serve as the point of contact and representative when needed. Develop and carry-out resident and fellow retention initiatives focusing on employee engagement and/or resident and fellow talent pipeline initiatives.
- Serve as main point of contact for all engagement events and activities by leading project teams. Partners and works collaboratively with Physician Recruiters in all regions.
- Collaborate with HR team members on all project initiatives taking into account the needs of each areas customer groups and adjusting approach as needed to accommodate.
- Partner with HR team members to provide project management, analytical, and content expertise support on physician service line activities and system-wide initiatives. Responsible for ensuring consistent communication and processes in order to achieve efficiencies.
- Lead the development of key metrics for analysis and standard reporting strategies throughout Physician Services; includes SalesForce, Excel and Power BI to develop analytical reports for use in strategic planning and decision making.
- Act as strategic partner to develop, maintain, support, and report on goals and accomplishments. Analyze data/reports; proposing and presenting recommendations based on analysis in executive ready manner.
- Provide oversight to the tracking of documentation of the department's internal shared portal and ensures best practices for use of the site are administered.
