Diesel Mechanic**
**Description:** If you're looking for a job ASAP and you have experience working on diesel engines and mechanical systems, then this is the position for you! A leading construction company in Omaha is looking for Diesel Mechanics to join the team and assist with servicing and maintaining diesel pumps, fleet vehicles, and mechanical equipment. The company is looking for mechanics to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!
**Responsibilities:**
+ Service and maintain diesel pumps, fleet, and mechanical equipment
+ Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites
+ Conduct quality checks on repaired equipment
+ Tune up wellpoint systems as needed
+ Maintain complete and accurate service records
+ Complete documentation of repairs and services
+ Maintain clean and safe workspaces, removing hazardous materials
**Skills:**
+ Diesel Diagnostics and Maintenance
+ Engine, Hydraulic, and Electrical System Repair
+ Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting
+ Pneumatics and Brake Systems
+ Fleet and Heavy Equipment Repair
+ Experience in Large Equipment Maintenance is a plus but not required
**Additional Qualifications:**
+ Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing large equipment preferred
+ Appropriate repair certifications desired
+ Ability to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card
+ Strong attention to detail and safety practices
**Experience Level:** IntermediateExpert Level
**Location:** Omaha, NE (with 8090% travel, usually within 6 hours of Omaha)
**Pay / Shift:**
Pay is depending on experience
MonFriday: 10-hour days
_Includes paid drive time, hotel accommodations, and travel stipends for out-of-town work_
