Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance III Painter to join the Engineering team at Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah. This full-time, year-round position ensures that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, delivering a serene and seamless experience to all guests. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering and contribute to the overall upkeep and aesthetic of the resort.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm and professional presence, ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining all facilities in excellent condition.
- Complete daily painting and finishing tasks, including patching, taping, and texturing to level 5 finish.
- Operate painting tools and equipment, including sprayers, and apply finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Maintain and refinish wood flooring and contribute to other facility repairs as needed.
- Accurately order and track required materials for maintenance projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.
- Keep logs and records of tasks completed, materials used, and repairs made.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure resort standards are upheld.
- Support all shifts as required, including overnight shifts.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in painting, finishing, or related maintenance work.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification.
- Strong understanding of interior and exterior painting techniques and equipment.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering work of the highest standard.
- Valid driving licence and clean driving and criminal record.
- Proficiency in basic record-keeping and following safety protocols.
- Previous guest service experience preferred.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
