The Environmental Engineering and Consulting team delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. A DAY IN THE LIFE

Our Contract & Project Management Supervisor position is located in Little Rock, AR reporting to the Center of Excellence Lead.

As a key member of the Finance Center of Excellence, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

  • Team Leadership: You are a leader who puts the team first. Lead and manage a team of Contract Setup Specialists by providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure team success and professional development.

  • Contract Management Oversight: Complete understanding and knowledge of our project and contract set up to oversee end to end contract management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Project Revenue Oversight: Manage contracts with consulting project managers related to contract setup and closeout, including project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and monitoring of project progress and performance.

  • Client Engagement: Serve as an escalation point of contact for internal clients regarding contract setup and closeout processes, building and maintaining strong internal client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of consulting services delivered by the team, conducting quality reviews, providing feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline and improve contract setup and closeout processes, developing and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and recommendations, providing regular updates, reports, and presentations as needed.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract setup and closeout consulting projects, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Building relationships across our company is fundamental to supporting operations. Collaboration with other departments such as Finance, and Project Managers to ensure alignment of project set up and contract set up processes with business goals and customer satisfaction at forefront.

  • Training and Development : Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and professional development within the team. Serve as the teams subject matter expert.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; additional certification in contract management or project management is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, project management, or consulting roles, with demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.

  • People leadership and management experience of 2+ years.

  • Strong understanding of contract and project management principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in contract setup, administration, and closeout processes.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. You are a leader who puts the team first.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and ERP systems with Workday preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues and develop innovative solutions.

  • Experience in government contracting, construction, or other project-based industries is a plus.
