Job Description
The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading Full-Turnkey Network Services company, to hire a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) specializing in Electrical Engineering with a strong focus in telecommunications infrastructure . This is a high-impact role leading design, implementation, and analysis of broadband, fiber optic, and wireless systems with a key emphasis on network optimization, pole load assessments, and regulatory compliance .
Responsibilities:Design and implement telecom systems (fiber, wireless, broadband, satellite)
Conduct pole load analysis using tools like O-Calc Pro, SPIDAcalc, or PLS-CADD
Ensure compliance with NESC, NEC, NFPA, FCC, IEEE , and other standards
Lead engineering reports, site surveys, and risk assessments
Provide project leadership , technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
Maintain documentation, support field verification, and client presentations
Requirements Requirements:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
Licensed P.E. in Arkansas (multi-state preferred)
5+ years in telecom/electrical engineering
Proficient in AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, and pole loading software
Knowledge of network systems, broadband design, and structural load assessments
Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory experience
BICSI RCDD, CCNA/CCNP, PMP certification
Experience with RF/5G networks and cybersecurity best practices
Background working with utilities or public-sector telecom projects
