Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the timely, profitable execution of Special Projects HVAC service work, including scheduling manpower, subcontractors, and equipment.

• Serve as the liaison between Service Sales, Special Projects, and Construction Operations, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.

• Review and submit all necessary project documentation (submittals, RFIs, permits, lift plans, etc.) to support smooth field operations.

• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, safety compliance, quality standards, and productivity.

• Support the Project Manager with estimating, change orders, equipment tracking, and vendor coordination.

• Ensure all work adheres to B&I's quality standards, safety policies, and departmental procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

• 2-5 years of HVAC Service or Project Engineering experience in a mechanical contracting environment.

• OSHA 30 Certification (within the last 5 years).

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and proactive.

• Must be a strong team player and detail-oriented problem-solver.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction).

• Able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 20 lbs.

• Must be able to speak and hear clearly with professionalism in person and over the phone.

Safety Requirements:

• Must provide oneself a safe working environment on job sites and in mechanical rooms.

• Understand and utilize proper PPE for all tasks while maintaining safe work practices.
