Building Superintendent

The Superintendent will live in the Building and for the safety and well-being of the resident community, must be available at all times to respond to any building related emergencies.

Responsibilities:

- Observe water and electric meters and boiler system gauges to ensure proper operating condition.

- Monitor elevator conditions and maintain clean cars and tracks.

- Routinely observe emergency fire stations pulls and fire extinguishers on each floor.

- Maintain emergency lighting on each floor.

- Monitor roof fans and general condition of roof.

- Perform minor repairs on small appliances, including refrigerator and air conditions.

- Ensure that garbage and recycling is placed outside for collection on appropriate day.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience.

- Prefer person holding sprinkler and stand pipe certificate, certificate of competency from HPD.

- Able to speak, read, write English.

- GED or Highschool diploma.

- S12 and S95 upon Hiring.
