Material Supervisor/Material Planning & Logistics Process Coach

Material & Logistics Supervisor MP&L Supervisors are the drivers of standardization and continuous improvement in the Ford Production System. The Material Planning & Logistics teams work to provide a synchronous flow of materials. Responsibilities: 1. Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work 2. Through Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts 3. Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level 4. Through communication and recognition create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks 5. Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents 6. Responsible for the daily material handling functions for the facility and for the department 7. Ensure proper material flow from receiving dock, to warehouse storage location, to the production line feed location, to the delivery of finished product to customers 8. Provide direction and support in the allocation of resources in order to appropriately cover material handling responsibilities 9. Support Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices 10. Lead and manage unionized hourly personnel and build Team Leader and Team Member capability **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
