Overview:

Construction Welders are skilled professionals responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in various construction projects. They play a crucial role in joining metal parts, structures, and equipment to create durable and functional assemblies essential for construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpretation of Blueprints and Specifications:

- Study and interpret construction blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand welding requirements and project objectives.

- Determine the type of welding process, materials, and techniques needed to meet project specifications.

2. Metal Fabrication and Preparation:

- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and degreasing to remove dirt, rust, and contaminants.

- Cut and shape metal components using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment such as saws, torches, and plasma cutters.

3. Welding and Joining:

- Perform various welding processes, including arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and oxy-acetylene welding, to join metal parts and components.

- Ensure proper alignment, fit, and penetration of welds to meet structural and quality standards specified in blueprints and welding procedures.

4. Structural Welding:

- Weld structural steel components, beams, columns, and trusses to form the framework of buildings, bridges, and other structures.

5. Equipment Maintenance and Safety:
