Job Summary: Perform general production tasks related to rotor plant, safely and efficiently, to produce a quality product that meets specifications. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Shape - Set up, load and operate equipment to plane, cut and shape media Use gauges and other tools to qualify product conformance to quality specifications Perform random test to ensure accuracy Complete quality traveler documentation Troubleshoot equipment and small tools, and make adjustments as required to maintain quality standards and process conditions. Clean and maintain work area Additional tasks as assigned by a team lead or supervisor Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience operating equipment Experience with operating hand held tools Experience with operating small power tools Ability to learn how to properly handle an overhead crane safely Ability to read simple engineering drawings Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision Additional Responsibilities: Maintain ISO-9001 Standards Perform all duties in a safe manner, support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, processes, and procedures Assist and train other employees when necessary Job Qualifications: H.S.
