Estimator for Concrete and Excavation

Estimating & Project AssistantAn established Concrete & Excavating company is seeking an experienced estimator. Responsibilities include: The ability to read plans, specifications and related documents. Identify finishes and request pricing from vendors for each finish & obtain a written quote. Prepare excel spreadsheets for proposal. Excellent computer and software skills and ability to learn (Plan Swift) take-off software. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Previous experience in construction a plus or the willingness to learn the industry. A "CAN DO" attitude, self-starter and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with customers, vendors and co-workers. Review contracts and become familiar with terms and conditions. Prepare submittal samples for approval. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.E-mail resume with salary requirements.
