The Senior Project Estimator will work out of the Fort Wayne office managing construction estimating projects to ensure timely and accurate cost and feasibility analyses. This is an on-site role requiring collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents for commercial construction estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients on project requirements.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and material costs to create detailed estimates.
Utilize estimating software for effective estimation processes.
Prepare bid proposals, complying with regulations and contracts.
Attend pre-construction meetings and site visits to assess feasibility.
Track and monitor project costs, providing updates as needed.
Maintain organized records and stay informed about market trends and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Destiny, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel).
Analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside strong verbal and written communication.
Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certification from organizations like ASPE or AACE is a plus.
