HVAC Estimator in Poway,CA,US

We are seeking an experienced HVAC estimator with a minimum of 5 years industry-specific experience to join our team at Brian Cox Mechanical. With over 35 years of experience as a commercial HVAC contractor, we are passionate about leading the industry and market in providing comprehensive HVAC services. The ideal candidate will be extremely knowledgeable, reliable, detailed, and a good communicator both internally and externally with customers and vendors. They will possess a strong understanding of conceptual and plan & specification bids, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Responsibilities: Conceptual budgeting and design build estimating Plan & spec estimating and material take-offs Incorporation of plans, specs & BOD's into estimates Review of subcontractor bids & scope of work requirements Proposal development and submission Interview as part of the project team Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills, both oral and written, particularly during the bid process System Knowledge: Chilled water systems VRF - air cooled and water cooled Water Source Heat Pump Systems VAV Specialty systems (dry rooms, labs, clean rooms, etc)
