Journeyman Sheetmetal Worker

Commercial Journeyman Sheetmetal Mechanic Primary Job Functions: Installation of HVAC Systems in commercial Buildings. Including ductwork and refrigerant pipe. Be able to lift heavy materials and equipment, climb ladders safely, work on rooftops (tied off) and in confined spaces when necessary. Be professional in dealings with other trades and fellow employees. Daily Duties: Installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, equipment, and piping. Strong time management skills and the ability to be punctual. Be organized for the efficient completion of each job. Work cooperatively with the other trades on the job. Communicate with Foreman to maximize the efficiency of the work. Always be looking for ways to improve your skills. Fill out time cards Follow the Company Safety Policy, including using PPE. Work as a team with apprentices and our employees. Training of apprentices. Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of this position. Contractors, customers and foremen are satisfied with your work. Job work field hours are on budget. Items are not overlooked; punch lists are short Timecards are turned in on time. No safety violations or accidents Good working relationship with fellow employees and others at jobsite. This job consists of local commercial HVAC installations (mills, hospitals, manufacturing, etc...) Must have 4+ years experience in this trade. Journeyman license preferred. This is a full time, evaluation to hire position. Ability to travel is required Depending on experience can pay $30+ DOE.
