Licensed Land Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our growing civil engineering team. In this role, you’ll lead survey operations for a range of land development and infrastructure projects—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and successful project execution from field to final plat.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys
• Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, easements, and survey documents
• Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers, and field crews to meet deadlines
• Ensure all survey work complies with state laws, industry standards, and client requirements
• Provide quality assurance and sign/seal final deliverables as needed
• Supervise and mentor junior survey staff and technicians

Requirements:

• 5+ years of land surveying experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or licensed role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar survey software
• Strong knowledge of local and state surveying standards and subdivision regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
