JOB REQUIREMENTS: Structural Designer - R9379
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs product packaging to ensure
product integrity and appeal under varying shipping and display
conditions. Tests, analyzes, and selects materials for packaging based
on durability and cost effectiveness. \* Creates innovative design
solutions and produces samples to meet customer requirements \* Review s
sample requests for layout and planning of project with key stakeholders
\* Effectively manages multiple projects and provides ongoing status
reports to key stakeholders \* Develop specifications and diagrams to be
used for pr oduction orders \* Creates set-up instructions and/or
animations for end user \* Supports sales team including interaction
with customer s and/or vendor s \* Reviews in-process production orders
to assure conformance to design functionality \* Facilitates or executes
product testing as required \* Participates in industry trade shows and
events including set-up and/or professional development opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience \* Technical degree required ,
Bachelor\'s degree preferred \* P roficient in t he use of current
design software ( i.e. Artios, SOLIDWORKS, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) \*
Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities \* Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and
methods for manufacturing products or product components \* Knowledge of
methodologies, tools and techniques for designing, building and managing
the manufacture of new products \* Knowledge of the methodology and
associated phases, activities and deliverables for the design of new
products and the enhancement of existing products; ability to apply the
methodology in diverse scenarios \* Knowledge of the methodology and
associated phases, activities and deliverables for manufacturing new or
enhancing existing products \* Ability to design, plan and execute
testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality Physical
Requirements & Work Environment \* Primarily works in an office
environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse
setting \* Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer
location \* Occasional travel required \* Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs
