We offer a vibrant teamatmosphere and a competitive benefits package.\**Position Summary:**The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for executing multipleprojects on time and on budget and directing and/or leading other designprofessionals within their discipline. The Senior Project Engineer willalso work with other design disciplines internally and externally todevelop engineering solutions for PECs clients. This position will beresponsible for providing design deliverables for a variety of projects,while maintaining PECs standard of excellence. This position utilizesBIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based calculations. Inaddition, this position will assist with the scheduling, planning,forecasting, resourcing, and management of technical activities toensure project accuracy and quality.**Duties and Responsibilities:**Responsible for project completion, in accordance with quality assurancepolicies, standards and project specificationsPrepare and review engineering plans and specificationsAssist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, andfeasibility studiesPerform and/or directs engineering design, coordination with otherdesign staff for construction documents and specification production, incompliance with building codes, construction administration, anddevelopment of reports/studiesServe as an advisor to the Project Manager, identifying andcommunicating any potential risk to the project in a timely fashionPerform and/or direct design computations by hand and by computersoftware. Specific experience and knowledge of pipe stress analysisrequiredLead field surveys to document existing conditionsPrepare material take-offs including pipe, fittings, valves, as requiredto support the projectLead piping designers to perform layout rules specific to piping designincluding but not limited to distance between runs, position of welds,supports, valves and openingDevelop P&IDs, general arrangements, piping specifications, equipmentarrangement drawingsRespond to piping technical inquiries from customers, vendors, and fieldpersonnel with minimal supervision.Review project contracts, schedules, and requirements to determinepiping needs, deliverables, and deadlinesParticipate in project kick-off meetings, review contract requirements,and develop/maintain master document lists for the piping and layoutengineering groupPrepare inquiry and purchase specifications for piping fabrication, pipesupports, piping hardware, and special elements in piping systemsReview isometrics and other piping-related mechanical drawingsindependentlyEvaluate P&IDs and equipment drawings against piping drawingsUse experience, education, and judgement to make informed decisions.Retain knowledge and build on previous experiences, to increasecapabilities in breadth and complexityOrganize multiple projects an\\![]( employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals withdisabilities.\\PI273120360
