This position is for a local cabinet manufacturer in Rocky Mount, VA. The ideal candidate should have experience with hand sanding and operating sanding equipment. Benefits of the Hand Sander Equipment Operator: Full time position. Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:30pm $15.00 per hour Responsibilities of the Hand Sander Equipment Operator: Utilize putty and repair wood Sand pre-constructed cabinetry in preparation for Finish Department Putty and repairing wood products Assist material handlers Inspect/reject before sending to the next department Place and move drying racks for finishing department when requested Each day clean the respective work area Each day, clean and ensure all equipment is returned to respective storage areas Contributes within the manufacturing operation to a team-oriented spirit Requirements of the Hand Sander Equipment Operator: Ability to work 40 hours a week plus overtime when needed. Experience working with cabinets preferred. Experience sanding cabinets. Experience operating a hand sander equipment preferred. Ability to lift at least 75lbs.
